Summary JI chief left the public meeting, angry over the workers' reaction to the sight of Biryani
MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Jamaat Islami (JI) public meeting in Shujabad on Saturday descended into chaos as the attendants pounced on to food. JI chief Siraj ul-Haq left the public meeting, angry over the workers’ reaction to the sight of Biryani, reported Dunya News.
Siraj ul-Haq was scheduled to speak at the event at 1 pm and the organisers had also arranged Biryani for the attendants. However, when Siraj ul-Haq started his speech at 3 pm, 2 hours after the scheduled time, the workers had already had enough.
Attacking the Biryani like it was war booty before them, the attendants started snatching the rice from each other as the organisers tried whatever they could to control the situation but all went in vain.
Angry at his troops, Siraj ul-Haq got angry and left the scene on a car.
