LAHORE: (Dunya News) – More neutrals are going to be appointed under the Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) system as it gained quick popularity among the masses, reported Dunya News.
Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Mansoor Ali Shah has on Saturday said that an enterprise system is being set up with Rs 2 million under which an international level IT system will be set up.
LHC CJ made the subordinate judiciary completely operational. He added that the IT system will also be upgraded on April 6 considering the problems faced by the lawyers and complainants.
Sessions courts in six model districts of Punjab decided 1294 criminal cases from February 1 to March 31 under criminal justice system pilot project.
The chief justice said that the first priority was to provide people with timely justice and the decision to increase the number of neutrals had been taken considering the rising faith of the lawyers and petitioners in the alternate dispute resolution.
