ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Supreme Court ordered that alleged criminal, who spent 16 years in murder case, should be freed as all the witness in the mentioned case were false.
As per details, Justice Asif Saeed Khosa remarked that the High Court didn’t overview the case in details and that all the witnesses in the case are false.
The court observed that punishment for false witness is life imprisonment.
It is pertinent to mention that the alleged criminal was sentenced to death by trail court and life imprisonment by High Court later on.
