Summary Naval Chief attends the event where CPOs, POs and sailors were handed military awards
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Special military awards were distributed among top officers of Pakistan Navy on Friday. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah attended the event as guest of honour.
Admiral Zakaullah presented Sitara-e-Imtiaz to 10 naval commodores, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz to 15 officers, and Tamgha-e-Basalat to four soldiers and one officer.
The event took place at Bahria Auditorium in Karachi where CPOs, POs and sailors were handed military awards. The recipients of Sitara-e-Imtiaz included a female officer as well.
16 officers consisting CPOs, POs and sailors of Pak Navy were kept in Tamgha-e-Khidmat class 1. Also, 17 officers were kept in class 2 of Tamgha-e-Khidmat apart from 30 officers in class 3.
Along with the the naval officers, several civilians also received military awards for their respective services.
