Summary PML-N says Sharjeel Memon is crying foul because he has been caught by NAB in corruption case

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has on Sunday said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sharjeel Memon’s criticism of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was unwarranted, and he was crying foul now only because he had been caught, reported Dunya News.

Memon’s return has sparked another standoff between PML-N and PPP as party leaders from both sides took each other to the task.

Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that at least Sharjeel Memon shouldn’t be criticising NAB. He said that Memon wasn’t complaining about any injustice but was just crying foul because he had been caught by NAB.

Tallal Chaudhry on the other hand said that Memon was now criticising NAB because law has taken its course. “They’ll have to bring back whatever they’ve looted”, he said.

PML-N leaders said that NAB chairman had the protection like that enjoyed by Chief Justice of Pakistan and shouldn’t need to worry about the pressure.
