Summary Khurshid Shah said that former US ambassador doesn't deserve to be discussed in the parliament

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – After the recent claims made by Pakistan s former United States ambassador Husain Haqqani, many of his critics have came out to oppose him.

The leader of opposition Khurshid Shah went as far as to declare him a traitor of Pakistan. “He doesn’t deserve to be discussed in the parliament”, the PPP leaded said.

He also told that the same reasons led the government to remove Haqqani from the office and appoint Sherry Rehman as US ambassador. “Such claims should be rather than discussion on them”, he added.

Also, PPP leader and Senator Farhatullah Babar stated that all visas issued in their party’s rule were in accordance with regulations.

PML-N leader and senate member Nehal Hashmi too shared his opinion on the matter and called it a conspiracy against Pakistan. “We will not allow anyone to sit in Washington and pose a threat to country’s sovereignty”, he added.

On the other hand, Husain Haqqani, while talking on Dunya News programme "Nuqta-e-Nazar", claimed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was well aware of all the affairs and the party was now making him a scapegoat.
