NAB apprehends dismissed police officer, son over corruption charges

Summary Constable Muhammad Yousaf has already been dismissed from his post

HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday arrested a dismissed police officer and his son over corruption charges, reported Dunya News.

Sources revealed that Constable Muhammad Yousaf and his son Muhammad Arif owned several bungalows, real-estate properties and other such assets. It has also been revealed that Muhammad Yousaf had already been dismissed from his post while his son is still serving as a sub-constable in police.

NAB officials have confirmed that the father-son duo owned as many as 120 plots in several residential projects while both of them also own several land cruisers and other luxury cars.

Moreover, local and foreign currency worth millions, prize bonds and 34 tola gold was also recovered as the raid was conducted at the criminal’s residence.

It has also been confirmed that the criminals owned as many as 20 bank accounts and several other anonymous bank accounts.

Sources also revealed that both these criminals served as frontmen for several government officials.
