OKARA (Dunya News) – At least five people were killed while two others sustained severe wounds as Fareed Express collided with rickshaw in Okara today (Wednesday).
According to details, the incident took place when a speeding train rammed into a motorcycle rickshaw in Basirpur area as there was no railway crossing.
The mishap took lives of five people while two injured have been shifted to the hospital for medical assistance.
The locals said that railway officials have been continuously informed about the poor safety arrangements in their area however, none of them took any step in this regard.
