ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Sources have confirmed that the federal capital is home to some of the most illicit type of maternity centers that have been set up without any proper documentation.
The irony is that each of these maternity homes has been set up inside a single room where the basic health facilities are nowhere to be found.
Not only is the cleanliness condition at these maternity centers at its extremes but also the human lives are at stake owing to the surgical operation undergone at these homes.
The medical facilities at these maternity homes are extremely horrible as section machines, oxygen cylinders and incubators are also unavailable at any of these centers.
Sources have also revealed that the major source of income at these maternity centers are abortion cases.
State Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry didn’t answer satisfactorily over the matter when asked to comment on the situation.
