Summary Shehbaz Sharif took notice of unregistered stents in hospitals while calling its use 'terrible'
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A high level meeting was chaired by Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif in federal capital on Saturday.
Shehbaz Sharif made it clear to the attendees that Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan has not completed its reasonability. While commenting on the use and purchase of unregistered stents in hospitals, he called the matter as ‘terrible’. He took notice of the unfortunate issue and ordered to conduct an overall audit for hospitals.
Punjab CM highlighted that it is the duty of respective department to fulfill its responsibility. He ordered to regulate a single policy on the matter of stents. “Patients should be treated by using registered stents only”, he added.
