KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has on Friday granted bail to MQM lawmaker Kunwar Naveed Jamil in five cases, reported Dunya News.

It is pertinent to mention that the bail application of MQM parliamentarian was approved three days ago.

The court ordered the prison officials that if there doesn’t against any further cases against the MQM leader, he should be released.

Kunwar Naveed Jamil was subsequently released after the court’s orders.

MQM leader was warmly received as he reached to the temporary office of MQM at PIB Colony from Cardio Centre of Jinnah Hospital.

Several other leaders of MQM such as Farooq Sattar, Amir Khan, Mahfooz Yar Khan, Rauf Siddiqui and others were also present at PIB Colony on the occasion.

The cases filed against the MQM leader pertained to incendiary speeches and anti-state slogans raised by MQM founder on August 22 last year, and attack on media organisations.
