ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly (NA), Khurshid Shah has said on Thursday that verdict of the Supreme Court (SC) in Panama Leaks is needed to be given soon.
While talking to the media outside the parliament, Shah said that the verdict should come soon as the common perception is that the Prime Minister (PM) is hiding behind letter from a foreign country. He said that some documents from Germany have also surfaced concerning Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Separately, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Vice-chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (TPI) has said that the political party filed privilege motion in the National Assembly. He said that privelghe oif the assembly was damaged by PM’s speech on the floor of the House last May.
Qureshi asserted that stance of the party would also be forwarded in meeting of the Business Advisory Committee. Either premier’s stance in the SC or his statement in the National Assembly is wrong, PTI’s leader claimed.
