Summary Chief of MQM Pakistan said that Karachi is not given due rights despite paying taxes
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Farooq Sattar said on Sunday that Karachi is feeding whole country so they should be given due rights, reported Dunya News.
Farooq Sattar was addressing meeting of general workers as he said that a city of 30 million feeds whole country and they pay 70% tax to federal government and 90% tax to provincial government but they get only 5%.
He said that they had come to decide whether they should take donations from Islamabad or they should start a decisive movement. He said that not starting a movement means that we sold ourselves to Rehman Malik first and now Iqbal Kazmi.
Farooq Sattar also took a dig at Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) as he said that they were not afraid of speeches of any DSP, SP or PSP.
