Summary Yahya Afridi was appointed as head of the special court on the basis of a letter by Ministry of law

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Yahya Afridi has been appointed as head of special court in the treachery case associated with former president General Pervaiz Musharraf.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar appointed Justice Yahya Afridi as head of the special court on the basis of a letter by Ministry of law.

It is pertinent to mention that the special court went dysfunctional owing to Justice Mazhar Miankhail’s appointment as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

On the other hand, the report regards to confiscation of former president properties has also been submitted to court.
