Summary Unfortunate incident took place in Kallar Syedan where two persons died after eating food at wedding
KALLAR SYEDAN (Dunya News) – Poisonous food presented at wedding ceremony in Kallar Syedan killed two people while 45 others have been admitted to local hospital on Saturday following critical condition, reported Dunya News.
The marriage ceremony took place last night. Many guests faced severe condition within a few hours after consuming food at wedding. Two of them died in hospital including 14-year-old boy Farid and 40-year-old woman.
Police have started investigating the matter by inquiring from the chef and host family’s representative.
Moreover, people protested against unavailability of beds in the hospital due to which two patients were being forced to lay on single bed. The deputy commissioner was present during the protest.
