Summary Tortured girl Tayyba was handed over to her parents Azam and Nusrat Bibi
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - National Forensic Science Agency (NFSA) of Islamabad verified the DNA report of Tayyaba and her parents. It was found that Mohammad Azam and Nusrat Bibi are the real parents of Tayyaba, reported Dunya News.
Her parents belong to a remote area in Jaranwala while the agency is all set to quickly send DNA test report to police after which it will be presented in the Supreme Court.
Earlier, pictures of Tayyaba after she was tortured were spread all over social media on December 28. Additional judge Raja Khurram and his wife were accused of torturing the little girl whereas news of pardon by Tayyaba’s parents had sent shock waves to all.
With the passage of time, as many as 5 couples claimed to be Tayyaba’s parents in between which made authorities take DNA test of child and all contending parents. Moreover, a grandmother had also made such claims.
Tayyaba was recovered from Burma Town in Islamabad on January 8 and three days afterwards, Supreme Court took suo moto notice of the incident. The highest court had ordered to carry out DNA test to identify Tayyaba’s parents.
She was also ordered to be sent to Sweet Homes. The little girl has been summoned at Supreme Court on January 18.
