ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Hafiz Hamdullah has demanded Chairman of the Senate, Raza Rabbani on Tuesday to order conducting medical tests of parliamentarians over alleged drinking in parliament lodges.
This is not the first time the Senate discussed alleged drinking in the lodges by elected representatives of the nation.
However, the Chairman of Senate forbade the participants of the session from talking about the issue.
Hafiz Hamdullah claimed that numerous bottles of liquor are found outside the apartments over which Chairman Rabbani directed him to talk over the issue in his chamber.
Jamshed Dasti had also raised the issue around three years ago.
