LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has on Thursday said that terrorists’ facilitators were like a cancer for Pakistan. He said that the government wouldn’t rest until the menace was eradicated from the face of this country, reported Dunya News.

Presiding over Punjab apex committee meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that the terrorists were rounded up and said that they wouldn’t be allowed to survive at any cost. CM also examined the steps taken in Punjab under national action plan. The meeting deeply examined the measures to eradicate terrorism, extremism and sectarianism.

CM said that the entire nation was united against the terrorists. The meeting also considered taking stronger action against the facilitators of the terrorists. The meeting also expressed satisfaction over the fact that the joint decisions of the political and military leadership have borne fruit. CM said on the occasion that the national action plan was guarantee to peace in Pakistan.

National security advisor Lieutenant General (r) Nasir Janjua and Lahore Corps Commander Lt Gen Sadiq Ali also attended the meeting. Rangers DG Major General Umar Farooq Burki, General Officer Commanding 10 Division Major General Sardar Tariq Aman was also present in the meeting.
