ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif expressed his greetings to the nation on the eve of New Year.
“On the eve New Year 2017, I convey my profound good wishes to the nation with the hope and prayers that it brings more happiness and prosperity for Pakistanis.”
Prime Minister said that we have faced our problems with great courage, and almost overcome them, we have to keep up the hard work until we eliminate all the shortcomings.
“The upcoming 2017 will surely mark a new beginning in the history of Pakistan to the fact that we have decisively turned a page in our history and have significantly overcome the challenges of extremism and terrorism.”
“The dawn of 2017 will surely make us candidly reflect on the year gone by with a view to analyze the high points and shortcomings we experienced in our national life. The tidings of the New Year will instill in us the prudence to fine tune tenets of our national existence and imbue them with spirit of tolerance and fortitude.”
The PM seemed very hopeful for a bright future of Pakistan.
“I strongly believe that Pakistan is finally heading towards achieving not too distant goal of a peaceful land and a developed economy.”
Nawaz Sharif also explained the government’s efforts to construct a great future for this nation.

It is my earnest wish that the good tidings of New Year usher in a groundswell of selfless national unity, emphatic appreciation of national imperatives and amiable understanding of national motives.”
