Summary Flight operations were suspended at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore due to dense fog.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Dense Fog has blanketed different areas of Punjab, including Lahore, on night between Thursday and Friday, badly disrupting the road traffic and flight schedules, Dunya News reported.

A Lahore-bound flight from Abu Dhabi was diverted to Multan as visibility was down to zero in Lahore due to thick fog.

The fog has also affected road traffic. The Motorway has been closed from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian as visibility was down to zero due to dense fog. Visibility was down to zero at several places at the National Highway from Lahore to Bahalwalpur.

The Motorway police have appealed the drivers to use GT Road for travel from Lahore to Sheikhupurs and Pindi Bhattian. The Motorway police have also urged the drivers to drive slowly and switch on fog lights. They also requested people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
