NAWABSHAH (Dunya News) – Former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari has reached Nawabshah on Thursday.
Reportedly, the former president would meet elected representatives and other leaders of the party to discuss current political situation in the area.
The visit of the co-chairman has come in around two days after he addressed a rally in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh along with Chairman of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. During his address, Zardari had announced to contest for a seat in the incumbent parliament from Nawabshah constituency.
In his address, Zardari had also announced that Bilawal would fight an election for introduction into the parliament from Larkana constituency.
The announcement dubbed as the major development in the politics of the country came in after deadline to meet four demands tabled by PPP expired and the move aimed at targeting the government.
