Interior Minister briefs PM on border management, internal security

Summary Ch Nisar briefed PM Nawaz about his recent visit to Torkham and Karachi operation.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Interior Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday to brief him on the country’s internal security and border management.

Ch Nisar told the premier that Rs70 billion are being spent by the government to raise wings of civil armed forces for effective border management and internal security.

He also briefed the Prime Minister about his recent visit to Torkham and Karachi operation.

Matters relating to political issues also came under discussion during the meeting.

Later, Moulana Fazal-Ur-Rehman, head of Jamiat Ulema Islam (F) called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House.



Current political situation and matters of national interest were discussed during the meeting.

The Federal Government’s development schemes in the provinces of KPK and Baluchistan also came under discussion.
