Summary Chief of JUI-F rhetorically asked why the government was not opting for referendum
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has said on Sunday that the party would not accept integration of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) without recommendations of the people.
Fazlur Rehman has demanded the government to hold referendum and urged the leaders to not take decision without considering recommendation of the tribal elders.
Chief of JUI-F rhetorically asked why the government was not opting for referendum if the people are endorsing annexation.
Fazlur Rehman cleared his stance as he addressed a tribal conference in Peshawar today.
