Summary Senate Committee on Interior has demanded a combing operation inside the university

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A drug mafia has been exposed at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad as drugs are being sold openly across the campus.

It has been confirmed that the students are addicted to alcohol, hashish and other drugs as massive sale and purchase of these items has been reported.

Senate Committee on Interior has demanded a combing operation inside the university and that is why DG Customs, Chairman HEC, Chairman PEMRA, all the provincial ministers and IG police have been summoned in the next meeting.

Dean QAU Waseem Ahmad revealed to the standing committee that the moment a vehicle is parked, a drug supplier comes near all of a sudden.

He also revealed that students are excessively using alcohol and hashish.

Dean of the Quyaid-i-Azam University demanded that a police station should be established inside the university and as a many as 25 CCTV cameras should be installed.

Chairman of the Committee on Interior Rahman Malik revealed that NFC should carry out a combing operation inside QAU.

He expressed that the country’s future is in danger and that the government should keep the country safe from drugs and terrorists.
