Summary Dar advised the meeting to ensure consideration of recommendations of the private sector
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar has directed authorities on Wednesday to chalk out a policy to expand opportunities of employment and investment.
The federal minister convened a meeting with Chairman of Board of Investment, Muftah Ismail and revenue advisor Haroon Akhtar in the federal capital.
Chairman of the board briefed Ishaq Dar regarding foreign and local investment in the country while the federal minister issued directives to chalk out a long-term policy to widen employment opportunities.
Dar advised the meeting to ensure considering recommendations of the private sector while putting together a policy.
Once a policy is derived out of the directives issued today, it will be forwarded to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif for approval.
