MULTAN (Dunya News) – The Clock Tower in Multan continues to remain dysfunctional from the last four days due to the negligence and lack of interest of the district administration.
The floral clock was installed during the renovation of Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh for the beautification purpose of the city.
However; the clock tower is not operating properly as one by one every part has been damaged.
First, the UPS went out of order, then the batteries and finally the clock stopped functioning.
Since then, the administration had paid no heed in repairing the clock.
This is the second clock tower that had become victim of the administration’s inattention. Before this a historic clock also stopped ticking as a result of the slackness.
