ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa on Monday held meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House.
Both discussed situation on the Line of Control (LoC), operation Zarb-e-Azb and other issues pertaining to national security.

The Army Chief also met President Mamnoon Hussain.
The President felicitated Qamar Javed Bajwa on assuming the command of Pakistan Army. He said that implementation on National Action Plan should be continued for peace and security in the country.
He also said that operation Zarb-e-Azb should continue till realization of all objectives.
The Army Chief said the armed forces will live up to the expectations of the people for defense of the country.
Chief of the Army Staff also convened a meeting with commander of Chinese Liberation Army at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

The Chinese commander laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
While conversing with the army chief in a one-on-one meeting, Chinese commander congratulated Qamar Javed Bajwa on appointment as the leader of Pakistan Army and acknowledged Pakistan s efforts in war on terror.
