LAHORE (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) of anti-corruption department Ghazanfar Ranjha has summoned affectees of the major land scam that was exposed earlier this week exclusively by Dunya News.

The director general has summoned the affectees on December 5 at 10:00 am as probe of the scam is underway.

The authorities have vowed to not spare the culprits involved in the scam.

Earlier, Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC), Mansoor Ali Shah had summoned a report in the issue following which sessions judge filed a three-page report.

The report asserted that hearings of pleas against forged verdicts of courts used by criminals to grab pieces of land across Punjab would be heard on daily basis and an inquiry committee would formally begin its investigations on Saturday.

After Dunya News reported the scoop, Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif established a three-member committee to initiate a probe.
