KARACHI (Dunya News) – Administration of Karachi University on Friday has held hostage the coverage team of Dunya News for reporting awful condition of institution’s shuttle service.

According to Dunya News reporter Ahsan Chandio, the management barred them from visiting the bus stand and locked them up in the university.



He said that staffers also threatened him to break camera in case of not destroying the footage.

"More than 30 buses are parked at the stand among which only 10 percent are functional. Students are also not allowed to take their own transportation inside the university premises", he added.



The reporter revealed that the KU’s Vice Chancellor Dr Qaisar is also not punctual and comes to university for only one hour. 

Talking to Dunya News, Registrar Dr Moazzam assured to launch investigation into the matter while the team was released after one hour.

Moreover, Sindh government has taken notice of the incident.
