ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday telephones Army Chief General Raheel Bajwa, sources told.
Imran Khan extended his best wishes and congratulated General Bajwa for taking charge as the 16th Chief of Army Staff (COAS).

General Qamar Javed Bajwa took charge as the 16th Chief of Army Staff at an impressive change of command ceremony at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Outgoing Army Chief General Raheel Sharif handed over the traditional Malacca Cane to General Qamar Javed Bajwa symbolizing the change of command.
While talking informally to the journalists, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said Pakistan Army will continue safeguarding the country against internal and external threats.
He assured the Army will take the war on terror to its logical end with the backing of the entire nation.
