Summary KP police almost wiped out several groups of target-killers but there are still some targeting them
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police almost wiped out several groups of target-killers in the province yet there are some left who are still targeting them. During the last six days, four security personnel have been martyred by the target-killers in the province, on Tuesday reported Dunya News.
A recent surge in the killings of police personnel has been observed in the province and its capital. According to police report, so far 37 civilians and law-enforcing agencies’ personnel have been targeted during the last nine months. During the last six days, four personnel from Frontier Constabulary and police have been martyred.
Operations SSP told that the target-killers were trying new methods but the police’s determination was firm. The police officials have directed the police officers to strictly follow the security guidelines while the search and strike operations have also been expedited.
According to the statistics, over 3 security personnel are being targeted every month, which is an alarming situation, demanding strong measures.
