Summary CM Murad Ali Shah assured him of cooperation for development in Karachi, says the Mayor
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Mayor, Waseem Akhtar has appealed to the federal government on Tuesday to cooperate for development of the city as according to him prosperity would help restore peace and curb unrest.
He addressed a press conference in Old Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) Building today.
Akhtar said that he has faith in the Chief Minister (CM) of Sindh and officials would have to work according to the Local Government Act 2013.
He said that CM Murad Ali Shah had assured him of cooperation for development in Karachi.
The Mayor said that three District Municipal Corporations (DMC) were being considered first for implementation of development plan for which all resources possible would be utilized.
Likewise, he said that other DMCs would also be worked upon.
