ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has termed Indian rocket shelling on passenger bus and ambulance near the Line of Control as deplorable.
According to details, a high-level meeting chaired by the premier in Islamabad reviewed the LoC situation in the backdrop of unprovoked Indian firing.
In his remarks, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan has demonstrated utmost restraint in the face of Indian belligerence. He, however, said Pakistan will not tolerate targeting of civilians.
He said Kashmir is an unfinished agenda of the partition of sub-continent and Pakistan will not leave Kashmiri people alone in their struggle for right to self determination.
Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and National Security Adviser Naser Janjua briefed the meeting about the recent unprovoked Indian firing on the LOC that on Tuesday claimed the lives of some civilians also who were on board a passenger bus.
Director General ISI Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar was also present on the occasion
