MULTAN (Dunya News) – Authorities in Multan have finalized a comprehensive security plan in light of Hazrat Imam Hussain’s Chehlum to be observed today (Monday), Dunya News reported. Eight processions will be taken out in the city while 32 Majalis will be held in different parts of the city.
At least eight processions will be taken out in Multan which have been divided in two categories on the basis of sensitivity. Three processions have been placed in category ‘A’ while five in category ‘B’.
At least 3000 policemen will be deployed for the security of eight processions and 32 Majalis in the city. Volunteers will be present to help the police official on the routes of processions. A control room has also been setup to monitor the situation.
