Summary Probe will begin 1st of every November, according to the commission
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has developed a framework on Friday to probe assets of parliamentarians under political finance wing.
According to the developed framework, assistance will be sought from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Auditor General, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other departments in the matter while concealment of facts would prompt action under People’s Representation Act.
Deputy Director of Political Finance Wing will monitor the funds spent on election campaigns while current assets would be compared to those possessed two years earlier.
Probe will begin 1st of every November, according to the commission.
Separately, the election commission has file recommendations for seven appointments in political finance wing.
