Summary Police apprehended four accused during operations in different parts of Karachi on Wednesday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Crackdown against criminal elements under National Action Plan (NAP) continues in Karachi as four more accused were arrested during police operations in different parts of the city on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, two officials of Rizvia Police Station, identified as Bandal Shah Bukhari and Muhammad Bota, were arrested in a police raid in Docks area for their involvement in the cases of kidnapping for ransom.
Police sources said that the officials were taken into custody while collecting ransom money from a trader. Sources further informed that a case has also been registered against the arrested police officials.
On the other hand, police conducted an operation in Lyari’s Baghdadi area and arrested two accused involved in street crimes. Police sources said that arms were also recovered from the arrested persons.
