Poverty-stricken children pick through deaths from rubbish

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The fearsome monster of poverty is playing with the lives of hungry-stricken children in Peshawar as the innocent angels pick through death from rubbish heaps lying outside Lady Reading Hospital (LRH).

According to details, owing to the negligence of the provincial government, the poverty-stricken kids pick through useable syringes, drips, medicines and other material that can be fatal for them to a severe extent.

The poor kids although work for a living and earn bread through selling these materials, however, they absolutely have no idea that the same thing can turn out to be death-seeking exercise as a result.

On the other hand, the hospital administration is completely denying the throwing out of the rubbish so openly outside the hospital. In fact, the wastes after surgery could be extremely fatal and could also result in spreading diseases.
