Summary PTI Chairman Imran Khan also supported the decision announced by KP government to file cases
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has on Saturday announced to file cases against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has also endorsed the decision, reported Dunya News.
According to details, KP provincial ministers along with KP CM Pervaiz Khattak met Imran Khan at his Bani Gala residence. Pervaiz Khattak said on the occasion that Punjab government overlooked the high court orders and used state violence against an elected CM, his cabinet members and unarmed citizens. He said that those attacking the federation of the country just to secure their political interests must be brought to the book.
The cabinet told Imran Khan that they were going to file the cases against the PM, Interior Minister and Punjab CM for using violence against them. Imran endorsed the decision of legal action and said that PTI stood firm with the provincial government of KP.
Pervaiz Khattak also said that he would raise the issue of Sharbat Gulla’s deportation from Pakistan upon the court orders. He said that he would raise the issue with the federal government.
