KARACHI (Dunya News) – CCTV footage showing four terrorists who fatally attacked two workers of a religious group in Patel Para area has been acquired on Saturday by law enforcement agencies to aid the probe that is underway.
The video shows four miscreants riding two motorcycles who opened fire on two locals and escaped the crime scene.
Regarding the probe, former senator, Faisal Raza Abidi was taken in custody earlier today by Sindh Police for interrogation. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of East District, Faisal Chachar said that the arrest was made in context of the firing in Patel Para on Friday.
Law enforcers seized weapons at Abidi’s residence in Rizvia Society. Sources privy to Sindh Police reported that former senator’s mobile phone and laptop would also be scanned in the issue along with his email accounts.

Three firing incidents within 30 minutes in the metropolis had claimed six lives and left two injured yesterday.
According to the police, Yaqub, Shahid and Usman were going to participate in a religious gathering when they were shot dead in Shafiq Mor area.
Another such attack claimed two lives in Patel Para area within minutes of Shafiq Mor gun attack.
Separately, in Hyderi area, three locals were wounded after which one of them named Shafiqur Rehman succumbed to his critical condition.
