Summary Justice Atir Mehmood questioned that under which law the passages had been blocked

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Justice Atir Mehmood of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench, while hearing the case on petition of Umain Tanveer, has remarked that nobody reserved the right to block passages.

He also questioned that under which law the passages had been blocked.

The government lawyer answered on the occasion that containers have been placed over some passages owing to security issues.

Justice Atir Mehmood remarked that the relevant authorities should express the government lawyer’s statement in written form.

Justice Atir Mehmood also expressed his anger over the passages being blocked and also summoned Chief Secretary Punjab, CPO and DCO Rawalpindi tomorrow.
