ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance has announced on Monday that the government would maintain the prices of petroleum products in November.

Dar said that prices of different products of petroleum would remain unchanged in November and no effect would be enacted in prices that were maintained in October.
The Finance Minister said that premier Nawaz Sharif rejected the summary forwarded by Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommending three to 15 percent increase in prices of petroleum products.
Finance Ministry would bear the extra burden, giving relief to the people, Dar claimed.
While answering a question, Ishaq Dar said that the government desired to reach consensus with the joint opposition over Terms of References (TORs) for Panama leak probe but PTI among other parties wanted the probe to be person-specific.
