Summary Sharif brothers are hypocrites as they say something and implement something else, says Khan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News / Reuters) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday has claimed that ’fake democracy’ is being exposed infront of the world.
Talking to media in Bani Gala, Khan said that PTI workers will continue to participate in Islamabad ‘lockdown’ despite all the hurdles.
“According to which law, the government is apprehending people from their houses by breaking the doors”, asked Imran Khan.
While calling Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, he said much more has to be done before 2018. He also termed former president Pervez Musharaf’s dictatorship far better than today’s democracy.
“Sharif brothers are hypocrites as they say something and implement something else but Asif Ali Zardari was not trickster like them”, he added.
PTI Chief alleged political leaders of destroying country’s departments and demanded the Supreme Court to take suo moto notice of party workers arrests.
Meanwhile, a passionate supporter who came to have a glimpse of Imran Khan was assaulted by security guard.
Earlier, Khan said the police have him under virtual house arrest after the city banned public gatherings ahead of Wednesday’s planned protest and arrested scores of PTI workers.
He dismissed claims he wants the army to topple Sharif, as it did when Sharif was in power in the 1990s, and said the protests aim to hold the prime minister to account for alleged corruption.
Khan’s latest challenge to Sharif’s government is based on leaked documents from the Panama-based Mossack Fonseca law firm that appear to show the prime minister’s daughter and two sons owned offshore holding companies registered in the British Virgin Islands and used them to buy properties in London.
