Javed Sadiq denies 'Punjab govt's front man' allegation

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Javed Sadiq, a director with a Chinese company has denied allegations of Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) by saying that Khan’s knowledge about him was wrong.

In an exclusive statement given to Dunya News, Sadiq said that the allegations leveled against him by Khan earlier in the day were untrue as according to him, Punjab government never reached an understanding with him over tender of development projects.

He went on record to assert that Arfa Karim Information Technology (IT) Tower’s tender was granted to him in Pervez Elahi’s tenure and Islamabad airport’s contract by the government of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Sadiq further said that another two projects were related to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Earlier during the day, Imran Khan had alleged Sadiq of working as “front man” of Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif who will be walking off with around Rs 26 billion as commission through different projects.
