Summary 22-year-old Javed Ahmed Mir was fatally wounded
SRINAGAR (Dunya News) – Death toll in Indian-held Kashmir has risen to 111 as another youth was martyred by occupying forces on Saturday.
22-year-old Javed Ahmed Mir was fatally wounded as troops shelled peaceful protestors in Budgam District today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, at least 14,000 locals have been injured while 111 martyred in the last 106 days. Reportedly, another 70 Kashmiris were detained today.
On the other hand, it has been at least two months since Yasin Malik, a leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) was taken in custody to suppress protests and anti-Indian demonstrations in the valley.
Reportedly, Malik’s health has deteriorated in detention and despite doctors’ pieces of advice, puppet government of Indian-held Kashmir has not taken notice of the issue.
Mishal Malik, wife of the detained leader has written to Secretary General of United Nations Organisation (UNO), Ban Ki-moon and Russian President, Vladimir Putin urging role to solve Kashmir dispute.
She had said recently that her husband’s life was in danger if timely medical treatment was denied.
