KOTLI (Dunya News) - Indian forces once again violated the ceasefire agreement along the Line of Control (LoC) by opening unprovoked fire near Palani village in Kotli on Wednesday, martyring a civilian and wounding five other, Dunya News reported.
Sources said that 28-year-old Abdur Rehman of village Palani was martyred in the Indian cross-border firing while five other persons of the same village were wounded.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), befitting reply by Pakistan Army silenced the Indian guns.
The violation of LoC by the Indian forces has been reported for the second time within the last 24 hours. Earlier in the day, Indian forces resorted to indiscriminate firing at Nakyal sector and targeted several villages.
Two children, 11-year-old Waleed and 3-year-old Halima, were wounded in the Indian unprovoked firing who were shifted to a nearby hospital where they were given medical aid.
