Summary Police in Punjab and Sindh is failing to bring peace due to political interference, says Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan expressed concern over Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s involvement in the matters of Sindh Government, reported Dunya News.

According to the spokesman of PTI chairman, Imran Khan said in his statement said that arrests by SSP Rao Anwar was made political by federal government’s intervention.

Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had suspended Rao Anwar when he arrested Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan.

Imran Khan further said that police was failing to bring peace in Sindh and Punjab due political interference whereas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Police was free of any political interference and that KPK Police was fully independent in performing its duties.

Moreover, PTI chief said that PM Nawaz feared of Panama Leaks investigation.
