Summary Garrison Commander Kharian Maj Gen Nadir Khan laid a wreath on his final resting place
Rawalpindi (Dunya News) – Ample tributes and homage were paid to one of the lion-hearted soldiers that ever lived on this soil on his martyrdom day, reported Dunya News.
According to ISPR, a special ceremony was held in the honor of Major Aziz Bhatti on his martyrdom day.
On behalf of Army Chief, Garrison Commander Kharian Maj Gen Nadir Khan laid a wreath on his final resting place. The legendary soldiier was posthumously awarded with Nishan-i-Haider on his heroics in 1965 war.
At the moment, soldiers of Punjab Regiment presented salute in a traditional manner.
