KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police have arrested three terrorists, belonging to a banned outfit in an operation in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and seized weapons from their possession.

The weapons seized from militants’ possession include two Kalashnikovs and a pistol.



Reportedly, the arrested miscreants were involved in attacks on troops of different law enforcement agencies and others target killing-related incidents.

The three are said to be identified as Anwar alias Mota, Ubaidullah and Mustalain Shah. Sources privy to Sindh Police have revealed that all there were used to collect funds for terror organizations as well.

Earlier today, two persons were killed while one critically injured in Karachi in similar target killing incidents in Haidri area and Baldia Town No 3.

On the other hand, paramilitary force seized a huge cache of weapons in an operation in Lyari area.

The personnel found an underground storage during a search operation. The weapons that were seized include LMG rifles, six SMG rifles, three 7mm rifles, two 44-bore rifle, 12-bore pump action and nine 30-bore pistols.

On September 2, Rangers had also recovered heavy weapons in a house in Landhi area of Karachi.
