ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Ministers belonging to the ruling party have harshly responded on Thursday to address of Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan in National Assembly.

Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Khan did not talk about anything new in today’s address. He gave the people an old genie in a new bottle. Khan resorted to leveling allegations against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as his habit.

He said that no evidence was presented along the references against the premier that were filed in the National Assembly and rejected by Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.

Imran Khan owned an offshore company when people were not familiar with the word, he said.

Talal Chaudhry said that Imran Khan needed to learn to accept decisions, if he wanted to become a leader of the nation. What would a person, who does not care about how women are treated in his rallies, would do if he visits people’s residences, Chaudhry rhetorically asked.

Imran Khan addressed the National Assembly today in issue of Panama leaks against premier Nawaz Sharif.

Khan s address today came around more than three months after his last address which explored the same issue.

Ever since Panama Papers published documents that were leaked from the database of Mossack Fonseca, Imran Khan among other opposition parties have been criticising the premier for allegedly stashing wealth abroad and evading taxes.

In April International Consortium of Investigative Journalists studied the leaked documents that had names of at least 140 leaders of different countries among others who owned shell companies which are not illegal but go with the connotation of being used to evade taxes.
