Summary Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that policies for arms licencing must be strict
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday decided to issue limited arms licences, reported Dunya News.
Presiding a high-level meeting, the Interior Minister said that the policies for arms licencing should be tough. The meeting also reviewed National Identification Card (NIC) verification process.
Nisar was told in the meeting that 1685 foreigners have voluntarily submitted Pakistani NIC. The foreigners were the nationals from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia.
The minister thanked over 92 thousand callers who have identified the foreigners and approved award prizes for 45 Pakistani citizens. The awarding citizens would also receive an encouragement certificate by the ministry.
